It all began in 1896, in the city of San Carlos Norte, Province of Santa Fe, when Mr Juan María Lheritier and Mr Juan Orse decide to join together to make food PRODUCTS, in order to supply the most delicious flavors of the whole region. In 1919 Mr Juan María Lheritier acquired the whole goodwill, so a new phase began together with his family.
In 1958, the Company decides to make a big bet on the future, generating an important transformation process, incorporating equipment and machinery of German, Italian and English Technology, becoming this way into a modern industrial plant.
In the 80´ Lheritier acquired part of the controlling shares of Bessone S.A. who in 1939 began the industrial activity with coffee and malt production. In 1976, the main product of the company was launched to the market: Instant Malt El Pocillo, which soon became the leader product of the category, early in 2018 Lheritier through a merger completed the acquisition of Bessone S.A.
Lheritier, already recognized in the market for the particular candy flavor, began the production of LOLLIPOPS, achieving an important role in this segment.
The production strategies, the search for new markets and the need for continuous development and expansion led to the production of a new line of nougats and confectionery, to satisfy the most demanding customers.
Lheritier expanded its categories incorporating infusions like El Pocillo Malt, Maltifé Malt as strategic PRODUCTS and Bessone Cappuccino, Bessone and Lheritier Bakery, Powdered Drink Mix and Cereals as PRODUCTS complementary to its categories.
About this history involving the vision and strength of a family of entrepreneurs, Lheritier has acquired a significant role in the industry of LOLLIPOPS and infusions as producer and supplier of PRODUCTS of the highest quality and after consolidating in the national market, began to explore and develop external markets.
